GDE’s PROPOSAL for The Parker Foundation

Thanks to Gerard for that significant LEAD

The Parker Foundation which focuses on three areas: Life Sciences, Global Public Health and Civic Engagement. In 2015, Mr. Parker announced a $600 million contribution to launch the foundation.

The Parker Foundation was established through a $600 million gift by Sean Parker. The foundation builds upon Sean’s historical philanthropic support and capitalizes on his pioneering work in the fields of technology, media, company building, and public policy. Based in San Francisco, the foundation intends to aggressively pursue large-scale systemic change in three focus areas: Life Sciences, Global Public Health, and Civic Engagement.

Since 2005, Sean has been an active donor to cancer research, global public health and civic engagement. In 2012, he pledged a $5 million grant to Stand Up to Cancer and the Cancer Research Institute to create the Immunotherapy Dream Team, uniting laboratory and clinical efforts that will lead to the immunological treatment, control and prevention of cancer.

More recently, Sean pledged $24 million to create the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy Research at Stanford and made a $4.5 million grant to support Malaria Elimination Initiative at the University of California San Francisco’s Global Health Group. In February 2015, Sean was ranked number 5 on the Chronicle of Philanthropy’s 2014 Philanthropy 50 list.

The Team need to have READY the GDE’s DRAFT PROPOSAL for The Parker Foundation. Each Team Member needs to prepare OWN input to the ONE Proposal to be submit by GDE.

We will discuss few concepts of ours regarding a PROPOSAL we wish to submit to Sean Parker Foundation, about our

1. Scientific Media Business in Life Sciences, Medicine and Biotech

1.1 the 3300 Scientific Journals

1.2 the 16 Titles in Medicine

1.3 the Real Time Conference Coverage of Biotech and Medicine Conferences (methodology developed at LPBI by Aviva & Dr. Williams using Social Media is Scaleable)

1. M3DP 

2.1 R&D in Biologics and Tissue Engineering

2.2 Medical Devices and 3D BioPrinting

(Our Lecture Series is in fact a portfolio of CONCEPTS for businesses based on 2.1 and 2.2)

2.3 Genomics, Gene Editing and 3D BioPrinting

We will contact the Parker Foundation AFTER all addresses Skyped with Prof. Feldman about the PROPOSAL Concept of their own input contributed sections of the Proposal

Outcomes of the Skype session, will result in a second session with all members of the Team
