Constructed and designed validation method to ensure targeted delivery of drugs. Conducted due diligence on existing products on the market. 3D printed multiple generation models and preformed imaging analysis and data processing using a microscope to verify drug location.

Research Assistant at the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute, Boston University Medical Center

Summer 2014

Created and developed a medical device and ran western blots to better understand the cause of diastolic heart failure. Performed due diligence on existing products on the market for the medical device and designed a working algorithm for the medical device that can calculate left ventricular filling pressure by utilizing ultra sound technology and fluid mechanics.

Medical Shadowing Experience

Over 100 hours logged in a wide array of different fields. Echocardiology, Electrophysiology, Cath lab, Periodontics, Cardiology medical rounds, General Dentistry, and Pediatrics.

Research Assistant at Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine

Fall 2013 – Spring 2014

Tested and develop next generation materials for dental prosthetics. Performed stress testing on multiple materials using an Isopress, preformed data analysis using excel, and constructed Euler modules for material properties.

Modeling-Modeled electrical activity of eye movements with mathematical function, Password voice recognition software, Modeled and constructed fluid dynamic movement in the heart and constructed full 3D model in solid works. Nonlinear system modeling, Chaos, Control systems and signals and systems.

Dental Drill Control system– current project to construct a medical devices that links dental imaging with a control system to assist in dental surgeries.
