Internship Description

Synthetic biology software for drug design in glycobiology: galectins for our joint venture with SBH Sciences, Inc. with Dr. Raphael Nir, Ph.D., President & CSO. 

  • Develop IP on targeting 12 Galectins as therapeutics using Synthetic Biology Software in Drug Discovery
  • Software Review and Testing
  • Training will be offered
  • Post-internship on-site opportunity for wet lab synthesizing and testing molecules at SBH Sciences, Inc. in Natick, MA.

Types of Students Desired/Requirements

Masters Student studying Biology/Chemistry (statistics, probability coursework preferred) Bioengineering/Bioinformatics/ Biochemistry/Genomics/Pharmacy/ Pre-Med/Computer Science Majors with Life Science Interest. Co-op Students (unpaid) are welcomed

Structure/Schedule

  • Remote
  • Cohort
  • Academic school year internships
  • Zoom 1 times per week with supervisor,
  • Zoom multiple times during internship with other students

Internship Project Work

  • Detailed workflow provided at a later date
