Word-cloud Analysis Meeting tweets (585 total tweets) were collected into Word and saved as a text file. The text file was edited to remove redundant phrases such as html code. The resultant text file was analyzed using the WordItOut™ program, available at http://worditout.com/ and a Word-Cloud was generated to determine common words, phrases.

The aforementioned discussion (a few examples given below) centered on the confusion big data, personalized medicine for patients and need for communication between all interested parties. In addition, there was much interest in the talk on the analysis of the Amish community as well as involving the community more in “big data” clinical trials and public discourse, information dissemination. Finally, conference attendees had interesting comments and concerns on the future of “big data”, personalized medicine and where do we go from here.
